I am an Atlanta native and have more than a decade of financial services industry experience. But I’m a music teacher at heart.
I graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in music education and then pursued state certification. In 2007, I joined Waddell & Reed and began acquiring the experience and knowledge needed to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. CFP® certificants are held to strict ethical standards and must acquire several years of financial planning experience and pass the comprehensive CFP® Certification Exam before they can call themselves a CFP® professional.
This background and my love of teaching help me break down complicated investment topics into language that is easy for clients to understand. With this understanding comes the comfort and confidence that your best interests are top of mind.
I believe in service to my country and my church. I was an ROTC member while at UGA, and commissioned as an officer with the Georgia Army National Guard, deploying to both Afghanistan and Kuwait. I am currently still an active member of the Army Reserves. My wife and I are members of Christ Covenant Church in Atlanta and enjoy Sunday sermons and Bible study groups.
Being the music teacher that I am, I look forward to using my experience and expertise to give clients an experience that resonates.
